We understand that making the decision to surrender your pet is never easy. Before moving forward, we encourage you to explore ALL AVAILABLE OPTIONS that may help you keep your pet in your home.

Surrender a Dog
If you need to rehome your dog, please submit a surrender request. Our team will review your submission and determine if we are able to assist based on availability.
Surrender a Cat
If you need to rehome your cat, please submit a request. Please note that cat intake is limited and may not always be available.
Surrendering your pet is a final decision and cannot be reversed. Submission of a surrender request does not guarantee acceptance. ROOT can only take in animals as space becomes available, and you may be asked to provide a donation to assist with their care.
