OUR MISSION
ROOT is a non profit animal rescue organization dedicated to taking in cats and dogs who are no longer wanted, abandoned, neglected, traumatized, or at risk of euthanasia. We rescue, rehabilitate, provide medial care, and rehome animals in need while supporting both their physical and emotional well-being.
As the number of displaced and surrendered animals continues to rise, ROOT strives to serve as a backbone to fellow rescue organizations by offering support, resources, and collaboration to strengthen lifesaving efforts.
Grounded in the belief that healing begins at the root, we are committed to restoring both animals and people from the ground up. By connecting animals in need of healing with people seeking purpose and companionship, ROOT promotes responsible adoption and strengthens the human-animal bond through rescue, education, and outreach across our communities.
